Looking for someone to help with my final decision-making, because I am stalling and the options are becoming fewer the longer I take!

Visiting Denver for a week at the end of July. Not a first-timer, lived behind Coors Field for a year, but way back in 2006, and it sounds like I am coming back to a brand new city!

I am hitting a Rockies game, a concert at Mile High, and a concert at Red Rocks. I am mostly interesting in seeing the new (to me) neighborhoods of LoHi and RiNo, while trying to recognize some of my old stomping grounds in LoDo.

Looks like some budget-friendly options may be over in LoHi. Deciding between a bigger/nicer lodging over closer to Jefferson Park side by Speer or another that is right across the River/25 on 20th. Is one of those "home bases" much better than the other, or is flipping a coin just as helpful.

I read your neighborhood guide, and while RiNo might be the ideal for me based on the pros and cons you listed (nightlife, restaurants) - I equally want to hit some spots in LoHi like Linger, Avanti.

Any advice to help push me one way or the other, please let me know! Thanks!

Well, I am too late and can't help you in making a decision about where you should stay while visiting Denver. However, now I can listen to your travel story. So dude, just tell us how it was for you or where you have been staying.
