📚 What was Your Favorite Travel Experience or Story?
I had just moved to Madrid, Spain, and was having lunch with a friend at a restaurant near my apartment. I was chatting with our server and mentioned that I was from Canada.
As I was leaving, she was with a group at another table. I saw her point to me and say “She’s from Canada too!”. They turned out to be a super cool band from Montreal. They told us to come to their show that night at a little neighborhood music bar called Fun House. So, we did!
It became my favorite place to see bands and I spent countless amazing nights there during my year in Madrid! I love the serendipity of travel!
🗺️ What’s Your #1 Expert Travel Tip?
Depending on how much time you have, pick one country and explore it well. The famous sites are amazing, but there is so much to discover about a place when you take the time to get to know it.
🧳 Backpack or Suitcase?
I use both, but I prefer a suitcase
✈️ Window or Aisle Seat?
Window.
