Rachel Kapelke-Dale is a travel writer and novelist originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and now a local of Paris. She moved to France in 2009. She has written about her early days in Paris in her memoir, Graduates in Wonderland, with Jessica Pan. You will receive a short questionnaire to fill out to help us plan, as well as a link to schedule a time for your video conference with Rachel.

At this time, our minimum length for planning an itinerary is 3 nights.

Within 7 days of your video conference you will receive your itinerary. If you opt out of the video conference, you will receive your itinerary within 7 days of submitting our questionnaire form.

Yes, you can opt out of the video meeting when you submit your questionnaire. If doing so, we recommend putting more detail into your questionnaire responses. The more we know what you’re looking for out of your trip, the better we can help you plan! 

Pricing is based on the number of nights you are staying in Paris. If you have a 5 night stay, for example, your cost will be $49 x 5 = $245 (plus any applicable taxes).

We base it on how many nights you are staying in Paris. So if you arrive on Monday and leave the following Monday, select “7 nights” when checking out.

Please understand that personalizing an itinerary takes a lot of time and effort on our part. But, if you’re on a budget, Rachel has a free Paris itinerary blog post you can use as a starting point for doing your own trip planning! 

No, we only offer customized self-guided itineraries and are not a travel agency. But the itinerary will include clear instructions on how to easily make bookings yourself.
