Puerto Rico is the perfect place for sustainable travel, especially if you’re outdoorsy and want to immerse yourself in the local environment. The archipelago offers hundreds of ecotourism activities, ranging from exploring local coffee farms to kayaking in bioluminescent bays where the water literally lights up with each touch of your paddle.
I am a Puerto Rico local who loves experiencing my archipelago’s outdoors. And, as someone who lives here, I care a lot about preserving our natural resources too.
